Precision Mulching is owned and managed by Colin & Linda Watson T/A Precision Mulching and has its base at 4 Blank Close Tolga.

Our business has been extensively researched and offers clients an alternative option to vegetation management and specifically addresses many environmental issues faced by clients, our low impact technique of clearing vegetation is arguably the most low impact method available.

We are the first business in the Cairns region to promote the application and our business plan includes expansion to multiple units as the application becomes more widely utilized.

Our Commercial clients to date include the CEC group, LDI Constructions, Eastern Tree services and Tangerine Property.

We offer a well organized professional approach to vegetation management to commercial clients, our structure and services include;

• Environmental Management Plan which addresses such issues as emergency procedures, protection of flora and fauna, watercourse protection and soil conservation and control.
• Workplace Health and Safety Plan in place.
• All machinery commences operations with the business from new ensuring reliable and efficient machinery.
• Public Liability Insurance to $10,000,000.00.
• Administrative procedures that include vegetation management reports inclusive of before and after photographs to assist commercial clients with accurate record keeping.

We are currently working towards a dedicated wash down facility being  incorporated into the purpose built truck to allow us to service clients with declared weed problems such as Mimosa, Guava etc. This facility will allow us to ensure compliance with applicable agencies such as Natural Resources and Mines and the weed hygiene declarations currently in use.
